hi gerrywe have a siamese daliaits petals have come off now but we kept the stem and i also took some photos last year we had a spiral dasy also we have a photo of that what would cause these mutations or are they natural?

A double or multiple stem is called fasciation and it occurs randomly as a natural somatic mutation in the development of a flower stem or branch. It is quite common and can occur in a wide range of plants. Often the water-carrying vessels within the stem do not fucntion well and the stems tend to wither after a time.
