I have two apple trees – one Elstar. this is very heavily laden with fruit, should I take some fruit off. Also have discovered a lot of cob webby looking things clinging between leaves. What should I do?

‘Elstar’ can carry a lot of fruit and it is no harm to thin out a little as it can become biennial bearing, that is, crop only every second year.
Cobwebs are just spiders trapping flies, a beneficial activity.
