I have planted a new hedgerow of holly and thorn which is been eaten by rabbits.They are gnawing the bark. How can I deter them.

On larger plants you can use rabbit guards, or make something similar with strips of heavy plastic like fertiliser bags and staple them together with heavy staples to wrap around the stem.
