Hi Gerry, I seem to have a back mould kind of thing on the leaves of a hebe with a purple cone shaped flower … not sure oof name.Do I say bye bye to my lovely plant, chop it out or can it survive this horrendous attack.Can supply photo if that helps. Thank you

Hebes suffer from leaf spot disease which is prevalent in a wet summer and if the plant is sheltered. There is not any satisfactory control unfortunately. It helps if you can increase the airflow through the plant to dry it out more quickly and some pruning might be done to facilitate this.
