I set purple Broccoli plants this year in my veg garden they are very leggy now should i cut them back, are they any more good, should i set more from seed next year?
Purple sprouting broccoli produces its edible flower shoots in spring. Do not cut anything back or you will lose the crop. It is naturally tall. You may need to place nets over it to stop pigeons grazing the new shoots.
