Just started to renovate an old overgrown garden and one of the trees I ve been told is a Broom tree, Can you tell me a bit more on this tree and what it needs care wise.?

If this is an ordinary broom, or Cytisus, it is probably not worth much effort as these are short-lived plants. If it is a Spanish broom, or Spartium, it can be cut back hard and will re-sprout and last for years.
