Cherry Blossom Trees

Teresa Joyce asked 16 years ago

I have Cherry Blossoms planted at the front of my house but would like to move them, is this possible?, they were planted around four years ago and are not very big. When is the best time to move them and the best way to do it. Many Thanks ,Teresa.

Cherry trees at four years planted could be moved when the leaves are off the trees. Dig a trench around the tree leaving a root ball of about 50cm diameter, cutting the roots as you come across them. Under-cut the root ball and lift it into a pre-prepared hole.
