can you recommed plants for a cottage garden?

Shrubs such as: lauristinus, hebe, potentilla, cistus, helianthemum,  spirea, hypericum, roses, daphne, fuchsia, hydrangea, among others.
Perennial flowers including: phlox, monarda, dianthus, lychnis, lupins, delphiniums, astrantia, London pride, peony, Oriental poppy, foxglove and physalis.
Annnual and biennial flowers: calendula, candytuft, nigella, California poppy, clarkia, sweet william, wallflower, bachelors buttons.
Bulbs including tulips, daffodils, bluebells, anemones.
