My garden has been over-run with docks.What is the best teatment to get rid of them? I have approx 3/4 acre of grass.

On a lawn rea, using a knapsack sprayer, you can spray with a lawn weedkiller in warm weather, ideally in April or May. Or since it is a big area, you could use an agricultural chemical, such as Bandock.
This chemical will damage other plants including hedges, if it gets on them, but you could spot treat carefully.
