I am looking for a grass seed or product for the grass that will somewhat avoid the damage our dog does on our small grass patch. Would you have any suggestions?

There is a saying: small garden, small dog.
All you can do is to fence off the damaged area and scatter some grass seed. A grass seed with perennial ryegrass is tougher and most alredy have it as part of the mix.
