Are everlasting wallflowers too late to grow from seed for this year? Can’t find them in any of the usual outlets

Strictly speaking all wallflowers are everlasting, or at least perennial, and may last a long time in a border with well drained soil. But usually they get straggly and die out after a few years.
Seeds are sown in early summer for planting in autumn and should be available in garden centres around that time.
Other types, including purple wall flower, will be on sale in spring.Â
