Please advise about soil required by fisherman’s rod. I have a few in pots which need to be planted out. Any special aftercare requirements?

Dierama likes well-drained soil, not wet although it is often placed by ponds for the reflections.

Any good ordinary soil in full sunlight but not soil that goes too dry either. Distrub the roots as little as possible when planting and water each week for a few weeks to settle them in if planted in dry weather.
