My daughter is getting married on the 25th April and I would love to have some colour in the back garden.Could you please tell me what flowers I could either buy or plant in for containers as I have a very large decking and the girls could go out the back weather permitting to have their photos taken.

It is very difficult to predict what will be in flower on a particular date. There should be tulips, pansies and violas in the shops, perhaps stocks as well. The best bet is to visit a few garden centres a few days before and buy whatever is looking good and that can include shrubs such as camellias and pieris.
