what are the best plants to put on a site 16 metres by 14 meters to cover off septic tank and part of lawn? south facing,good drainage,clay soil,very little shelter at moment .

You cannot plant trees over the percolation area of a septic drainage system. You can plant near the tank itself because the roots cannot penetrate the tank, but the percolation area drains can become blocked by roots.
