My Iris are finishing up at present, should they be lifted & stored or can they be left in the ground for the winter or can they be moved & when?

Irises are normally early summer flowering and well finished by September. Irises are left in the ground.They are either rhizomatous kinds which flower well annually or bulbous types, which repeat flower well only if the soil suits them … well-drained, fertile and sunny.Â
