what if anything can i plant now as space in garden. I am going to put in some garlic but would like to try maybe something else?

At tne end of September you can plant out spring cabbage plants.
Set out autumn onion sets.
Sow winter lettuce in a sheltered spot. Sow rocket and oriental greens.
