Is it possible to re seed a sparse lawn in spring anduse a feed and weed treatment fairly soon after.

Usually the lawn just needs feeding. Put on a spring lawn feed in late March or April and if you have weeds then follow this with a weed and feed in May, when better results will be achieved.
