Hi Gerry, I have a mimosa tree its 17 years old,i am just wondering when is the best time to cut it back and the best way of doing it,lokking forward to hearing from you,thanks

Mimosa need never be cut back if there is space to let it grow. If it must be pruned for space reasons, do so in spring after flowering by shortenin branches and it can take heavy pruning.
