We have an apple tree thats continually getting covered in moss. Is there something we can spray/treat it with to get rid of it? Thanks.

Moss on an apple tree is no harm tot he tree, but it probably signals that the tree canopy is light, which would indicate that the trtee alcks vigour and/or is suffering from apple scab disease.

If you feed the tree with 30 grams per square metre of fruit fertilizer to the spread of the branches and spray to control apple scab, you will probably find an improvement.

People used to use tar oil wash to clear moss on trees but that is gone off the market. Jeyes Fluid would do the same job but might burn grass underneath, but again the moss is more to do with tree ill-health.
