I have a rose bush outside my back door and want to move it. It’s about 1.5 metres tall and probably 10 years old. Can I move it at this time of year, early March. Does it need to be pruned first?

In the middle of March, with the rose in growth, it is too late to move it until November, and it can be cut back at moving time.
