Gerry, I’m a new member. Name of a deep blue creeper found early summer growing over old walls etc.?

This sounds like the wall bellflower, Campanula portenschlagiana, which used to be called Campanula muralis, muralis means ‘of walls’.
This is easy to grow in a rockery or similar, by paths, walls etc. in well-drained soil in sunshine.
