We sowed Escallonia last September & it’s now beginning to flower & look good. We’ve been told we should prune it now to strengthen it for next year. Is that true? Thanks for your help. 1 Answers 0 Vote Up Vote Down Gerry Daly Staff answered 8 years ago If it is a bit gangly it can be pruned to tighten in up and creat more shoots from lower down.
