The above trees have spent 2 to 3 years in pots in my garden. I would like to plant them in the garden now. Is it ok to do this now ( January )? What special care should I take ?

it is fine to plant fruit trees in late winter. If you go to our How to pages and check out the needs of apples first. https://gardenie.wpengine.com/gerrycategory/apples/?id=5389

Make sure to plant in a sunny, well-drained good soil and do not plant too deeply … only to the level of the top of the root ball and watch for signs of drought in the first summer.
