How do i prune philadelphus? I have the plant 2 years and it has never been pruned. I got no flowers last year and only a few this year.

A young philadelphus does not flower much and should only be pruned to remove unruly shoots. Too much pruning will delay flowering. Most of the varieties are fairly large bushes and need pruning later to keep them to a reasonable size and this should be done after flowering.
