I’m wondering what could be attacking them at this time of year and what remedy you would recommend. The variety is ‘Timperly Early’. I have applied slug pellets to no avail. 1 Answers 0 Vote Up Vote Down Gerry Daly Staff answered 6 years ago This looks like weather damage. Very early growth is soft and a turn in the weather can cause it to struggle. As the weather improves, the plant will outgrow this damage.Â
