My well established Schizostylis normally blooms late summer/early autumn. However, in the last week it has started to flower – is this normal?

Schizostylis normally flowers in late summer and autumn but the red form can flower earlier and this plant was probably brought on by the late autumn and mild early winter. It may or may not do it again.
