I was given a shamrock plant in a little pot, With no previous experience of them, What way should I treat it to keep it flurishing ie soil, feed, container,site etc. Thanks

Shamrock is an annual that grows and flowers, sometimes in the one year but more often, sprouting one summer and flowering the following year, setting seeds and withering eventually.
You should plant your plant in a sunny, well-drained spot, reaasonably weed-free,  and it might produce seeds and new plants for next year.Â
