Looking for a small size tree of interest which would be a mature height of 6-7ft. Also looking for a tree that would be happy to stay in a pot.

Some of the Japanese Dissectum maples, Magnolia stellata, Salix ‘Wernahnii’ and Robinia hispida. Juniperus communis ‘Compressa’.
No tree is fully happy in a pot but the above, except magnolia and robinia, will cope reasonably.
