What shrub is named sorbaria or sorbifolia Sem as i have searched all my gardening books and cannot get it?

Sorbaria is a medium shrub with ash-like leaves and white plumes, quite like spirea, which it was once called.
It is occasionally seen in old gardens, not often for sale. ‘Sem’ is a variety with orangey young foliage.
