What’s likely cause? it occurred on the potatoes from just one plant. Plants either side are okay

Uneven growth of potatoes can be caused by wet weather following dry weather. Â It was dry in the early summer, potatoes form, and when wet weather comes there is a burst of growth.
It usually affects many plants, but it might affect individual plants too.Â
