Can you recommend a suitable hedge that will grow to approx 8 – 10ft very fast. It will be used as a ditch instead of replacing old fencing that is there as present. Thank you

Common laurel is a good fast-growing hedge to reach about 3 metres. It is ideal for an old ditch, which often harbours honey fungus disease, because the laurel is relatively resistant.
