My dad & I have been growing tomatoes for years but this year, the leaves on some of his otherwise healthy plants have turned a kind of rust colour. Some of the leaves on my plants have turned whitish in the centre of the leave or often the leaf is speckled with this whitish colour. Are these some kind of blight or what do you think?

It is difficult to tell exactly without seeing the plants, but it is possibly due to the fluctating sunlight and heat, casuing a certain amount of sunscald, which can be a burnished look or more severely a white scald.
