I’d like to know if I can dig out my peony rose from the border and put it into a pot. Is this a good time to do it?It is in the wrong spot.

Peonies do not like to be disturbed and they do not like to be in a pot.
If you need to move it, this can be done in early autumn, or in early spring. It is best not moved in winter when the ground is cold and wet.Â
