Watermelon needs lots of sunshine and heat in a greenhouse, and rich fertile soil, with plenty of water and feeding. It is much more tricky than ordinary melon, harder to get fruit to form, let alone ripen. You need to dust pollen intot he flowers with a small paint brush.
