My wisteria has never flowered it is 8 yrs old i prune it late summer and January what can i do to remedy this problem?

Wisteria can be slow to flower, especially if not in full sunshine and growing in fertile, heavy soil.

In the latter case, it tends to make a lot of leafy growth, but eventually does settle to flower.

Prune only in summer and then only to shorten back the unwanted long whippy shoots to about pencil length.

Potash applied in spring, about 50gm, well scattered, might help.
