I have heard of a moth which affects these trees. I think my tree has been affected, as I saw caterpillar trails on the leaves. This is the second year for this to happen. What do I do? .

You are probably referring to leaf miner catterpillars which leave tracks in the leves. Although unsightly, the damgeis relatively slight and nothing needs to be done. The extent of marking varies from year to year.
